Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee [BPCC] president Chaudhary Mehboob Ali Qaiser on Friday expressed concern over sky rocketing fees in the private schools.
During the last two years, the fees in schools have increased up to 80 to 90%. This year alone, the charges have been increased up to 30%. He alleged and said the party will launch a state- level stir against the fee hike. All India Democratic Students Organization has also taken exception to the fee hike in private schools.
At its district –level meeting held on the College of Commerce premises here on Friday, the AIDSO threatened to launch a stir on the issue.
The private schools are looting not only school going students parents, their looting also teachers engaged in such private schools. The big exploitations done on educated unemployed graduates and post-graduates engaged in teaching jobs in private schools. These teachers are paid rs 3-4k/month for their teaching works. But schools have increased their fees 100% in the last 2 years on the ground of hike of staff’s salaries, totally false. The Bihar government & all political parties should adopt strong and firmed steps to curb the loot by education mafias.
