C M Nitish Kumar has refused to comment on the bickering within the JD-U over show cause notices served on over 250 party leaders, including MPs and legislators, by the Party disciplinary committee. Asked why the leaders, whom he backs and awards posts, turn against him, he said, Say, it my bad luck. I am a human being so I feel hurt and people say I have been cheated.

He was obliquely referring to the rebellion by former state party chief Rajiv Ranjan Singh Lalan and ex-national general secretary and RS member Upendra Kushwaha. When I face this situation, my party colleagues laugh and make me fun. Looking at some of his senior cabinet colleagues at the sidelines of Janta Durbar on Monday. Nitish Kumar on Monday favored the demolition of 31-storied Adarsh Housing Society building in Mumbai and said unless some high-rise buildings in the country were demolished; the people [involved in corrupt practices] would not come to their senses.
